A PhD position is available in the Biomedical and Metabolomics Analysis group at the University of Geneva. The aim of this project is to develop new analytical approaches for the relative and absolute quantification of exposure biomarkers. To this end, several separative methods coupled to mass spectrometry will be combined to characterize different families of metabolites (steroid compounds and derivatives, amino acids, sugars or lipids, etc.) and detect metabolic alterations induced by exposure to toxic substances and/or by pathologies of interest.
